ग्रामात् ग्रामं भेदः अस्ति,जानन्ति ये अटन्ति।
मन्दिरस्य द्वारम् एकम् एव,तत्र कोऽपि न तिष्ठति।
आयन्ति ये, ते गच्छन्ति।प्रभोः प्रतिमा जनैः सह
हसति च रोदति च।यदा हसति तदा कृपा भवति,
यदा रोदति तदा दुःखं हरति।इत्येव प्रभोः प्रसादः,
परदुःखे दुःखी भव,परसुखे सुखी भव।
English Translation
There is a difference from village to village,Known by those who wander.
The temple’s door is open for everyone,But there, no one stays.
Those who come, they go.The idol of the Lord with people
Laughs and cries.When it laughs, then there is grace,
When it cries, then it removes sorrow.This is the Lord’s blessing,
Be sorrowful in others’ sorrow,Be happy in others’ happiness.
